Our students come from all over to attend the Berkeley MBA for Executives Program. Most of the time, the class of 2015's first point of destination will be the Claremont Hotel (41 Tunnel Road, Berkeley, CA 94705). The Claremont Hotel Club and Spa is situated overlooking the San Francisco Bay in one of Berkeley's most classic neighborhoods where you can walk to countless shops and restaurants and even walk to Haas. If you wish to stay in, you can relax by swimming, playing tennis, working out at the state-of-the-art fitness center, or relaxing at the multiple restaurants and bars inside the hotel.
We reserve rooms for students for three (3) nights, Wednesday - Friday, for the blocks held in Berkeley. For the Orientation block, the night of Tuesday evening (May 13th) has also been booked.
Any additional room nights must be arranged by the student with the hotel (see below - "Hotel Commuter Option"). Incidental charges and upgrades are also the financial responsibility of the student.
If you plan to drive to Berkeley, please park in the hotel lots spread across the property. You will be asked at check-in whether you have a car parked and if so, will be given a parking card to allow for in and out access. Please self-park instead of valet and you will not be responsible for any parking charges.
For students who live outside of the Bay Area and need to stay at the Claremont on Saturday night of Berkeley block weeks due to limited flight schedules to your return destination, the program will pay for 50% of the cost of any such Saturday night hotel stays.
