When you enter the Evening & Weekend MBA Program, you are assigned to one of three cohorts - Monday - Wednesday Cohort, Tuesday - Thursday Cohort, or Weekend Cohort. The advantage of the cohort system is that it will enable students to develop the widest range of personal and professional contacts.
Cohort change requests will be granted when it becomes apparent that not changing the cohort assignment will impair the student's academic progress through the program, but also based on availability. Cohort change requests will not be granted based on preferences of instructor, preference of days for personal reasons, or if in by doing will require postponing a core course beyond the second semester.
Toward the end of the Spring semester of your first year, you are given an one-time opportunity to switch your resident cohort (evening or weekend) to the other.
For example, if you started the program in the weekend cohort, but would prefer to take only evening classes going forward. This one-time opportunity would allow you to permanently switch to the evening cohort. Keep in mind that this switch is a one-time opportunity and is permanent. You will not be given this opportunity again, and you cannot switch back. This switch is meant for those who plan on mainly taking courses in their non-resident cohort going forward. If you would like to take courses in your non-resident cohort in a given semester (not permanently), you can always choose to accept fewer bid points in that bidding cycle to gain access to those courses.
