On-Campus Recruiting (OCR)
Each year, the Recruitment Center hosts over 200 companies from 20 industries in on-campus interviews. Historically, On-Campus Recruiting represents approximately 30-40% of full-time offers accepted.
Eligibility
- OCR for internships is available to EWMBA students in their second year. However, please note that upon receipt and acceptance of an internship offer, students must terminate employment with their current company prior to beginning the summer internship.
- OCR for full-time positions is available to currently enrolled students in their final year.
- May graduates are eligible for the fall - spring OCR recruitment cycle, while December graduates are eligible for fall recruitment only.
- Students who begin participating in OCR and decide to extend their graduation will not be able to participate in a second recruitment cycle.
- Students away on exchange are eligible to participate
in Haas OCR, with the following guidelines:
- Exchange students are required to complete the mandatory OCR training and deliverables prior to departure.
- Exchange students will not be able to bid on on-campus interviews.
- Exchange students must indicate in their cover letters that they are away on exchange.
- Upon receipt of an invitation to attend an on-campus
interview, an exchange student must decline, and contact
the recruiter directly to coordinate alternate arrangements.
Alternate arrangements may include a phone interview,
interview at a local office, or an on-campus interview
at the local business school. If the company is not
interested in alternate arrangements, the student must
forfeit the opportunity.
Availability
Students participating in OCR must be available for
job interviews on campus between 8am and 5pm from October
to April.
Mandatory OCR Training
Students who wish to participate in OCR must attend
mandatory training sessions on resume and cover letter writing and interview skills. Additionally, we offer non-required training to help students navigate the recruiting process and create their career marketing plan.
Required OCR Deliverables
Students who wish to participate in OCR must submit
required deliverables. Deliverables include a career marketing plan, resume in Haas
format, targeted cover letter, and a signed professionalism form.
Eligible students will be notified of applicable due dates.
