Graduation Checklist - Class of 2013
February:
Plan to attend Commencement on May 24th at 2:00PM at the Hearst Greek Theater in Berkeley. No tickets are needed for the ceremony, and you may invite an unlimited number of guests.
March:
Complete your STUDENT SATISFACTION STUDY survey
Finish entering your community service hours in the Haas Student Directory before April 12th in order to be eligible for recognition as a Beyond Yourself Fellow for completion of 60 or more hours of community service during your time at Haas.
April:
Order your cap & gown for the commencement ceremony, or pick it up from the student store.
Complete the 2013 Commencement Sign Up to sign up to attend the ceremony and vote for the student speaker
Complete the BUSINESS WEEK SURVEY
May:
Update contact information and email forwarding in Haas@Cal. Your Haas email account is deactivated as a storage account, and becomes a forwarding address only, three months after the end of your final semester (December graduates: your email expires March 31st). Make sure to backup your Haas mail (PDF) before it expires.
Update your Job Information in CareerNet regardless of whether you used on-campus recruiting or have had no change in job status. Employment/Salary data is strictly confidential and only published in aggregate.
- Login to CareerNet, click on the “Job Reporting” on the sub-menu
- Complete all details of your current or new job (regardless of source) Why is this important?
Pick up your Alumni Relations Grad Pack and Commencement Reception Tickets at the EWMBA Program Office. Each student will be given two free tickets for guests. You may invite as many additional guests as you wish at a cost of $5.00 per ticket. Children five and under are admitted for free.
Confirm mailing address in Bearfacts. Diplomas will be mailed automatically (see below).
August/September:
Diplomas: Diplomas for graduates will be automatically mailed free of charge approximately 3.5 months after the end of the term to the diploma address supplied by you on Bear Facts. If you do not enter a diploma mailing address in Bear Facts, the Registrar will mail the diploma to your permanent home address.
