Milan - An Evening to Remember
On Friday November 22nd, 2002 the South Asia Club brought together leaders in academia and business for a three course dinner at the Haas School. The focus of the evening was twofold - to create an environment for discussion and to raise money to finance an education project in South Asia which is modeled after the work of Asha for Education. The dinner, which began with keynote speaker Vivek Paul, Vice Chairman of Wipro Systems, a software leader based in India, will be an annual event. The SAC hopes that their program continues to grow and offer Haas students an opportunity to make a social impact in South Asia.
