Long Business & Economics Library

Located on the third level of the Student Services Building, the Long Library is the Haas School's business information center. Its large collection of books, periodicals and databases support the teaching and research mission of the Haas School and other campus programs. You also will find comfortable study and lounge spaces on the library’s upper and lower levels. Six group-study rooms on the lower level are available by advance reservation. Most study tables and all carrels are equipped with electrical and network connections. Wireless connections are provided through AirBears, the campus LAN service. PC Workstations in the Long Library

The Long Library houses 22 UC Berkeley library workstations. They provide access to a wide variety of information resources residing on the Web, networked CDs, or at the California Digital Library.
• Networked CD-ROM databases connect to hundreds of CD-ROM databases running on the Library network. These do not allow remote access.
• Web browsers connect you to the Long Business & Economics Library’s homepage. Under "Electronic Databases," you will find links to our Web-based business information services.
• UCB Library Pathfinder is the Web version of the University Library's catalog of books, journals, and other resources. To learn more, go to: http://sunsite5.berkeley.edu:8000/.

We offer links to over 500 full-text electronic journals. Guides are available on where to find information by topic (for example, companies, industries, marketing). For a self-guided tour, go to http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/BUSI/tour.html.

You also have access to the over 9.1 million volumes and hundreds of databases available in 22 libraries on campus. You may borrow books and journals by presenting your student ID at the circulation desk.
Some Haas courses require research through information resources located in other subject specialty libraries. Those most likely to be of interest include:
