The Campus Climate and Compliance Office
has the responsibility to implement procedures for providing prompt and effective
responses to complaints of hostile work/academic environment, sexual or racial
harassment, or other discrimination concerns. Further, the office has oversight
responsibility to initiate, coordinate or conduct investigations into claims of
violations of campus policy in all areas covered under Title IX and Title VI law.
The scope of this responsibility is campus-wide covering faculty, staff and students.
To report and resolve sexual or racial harassment, or any discriminatory behavior that is creating a hostile environment on a prohibited basis, contact the Director of Campus Climate & Compliance.
To report and resolve discrimination on the basis of disability, including failure to accommodate, contact the campus Disability Resolution Officer, at (510) 642-2795.
To report an incident with regard to a situation in University housing, contact the Manager, Judicial Affairs and Compliance, Office of Student Development in the Residential and Student Services Program at 643-2600.
