Endowed Scholarship & Grant Awards from the Haas School

The following scholarships are awarded by the strength of your overall admissions application. Unless otherwise noted, these scholarships do not have a separate application.

Maxwell Fellows Program
Established in memory of Brian L. Maxwell, this award is intended to memorialize his drive, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit which led Brian to achieve success in business and his athletic pursuits. The Maxwell Fellowship is a two-year award, one quarter of which is disbursed at the beginning of each semester during the two-year program. The fellowship is applied toward tuition and fees as long as the recipient(s) reamin enrolled at least half-time and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0. Up to three fellowships will be awarded annually to individuals who have demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to create and implement innovative projects, products, and ideas. A separate application is required.


CJ White Grant
The CJ White Grant is designed to provide assistance to deserving MBA students with a preference for students with career goals in investment banking. The grant ranges from half to full tuition for both years of study. Recipients are selected by the Admissions Committee.


Jon Q. Reynolds Real Estate Entrepreneurs Scholarship

Awarded annually to a student intending to pursue a career in Real Estate by the faculty of the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics.


Gap Inc. Scholars in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Supported by the Gap Foundation, the Gap Inc. CSR Scholars Program is a unique fellowship opportunity that supports Haas MBA students who demonstrate a commitment to the field of corporate social responsibility in their professional and educational pursuits.

This corporate-sponsored program provides two-year scholarships of $5,000 each year ($2,500 disbursed at the beginning of each semester) to three full-time incoming Haas MBAs. In addition to supporting students, this collaboration reflects Gap Inc.'s leadership role in strategic CSR and commitment to CSR as a critical component of business education and management training.

Scholars are selected based on the following criteria: (1) demonstrate a strong commitment to the field of corporate social responsibility; (2) exhibit a strong commitment during their MBA education to practice business in a way that promotes a better world; and (3) hold distinct plans to integrate CSR into their future business careers.

Bumatay Memorial Scholarship

Designed to recognize the achievements of an MBA student who holds a technical undergraduate degree and who plans to work in a technology-oriented field, in a venture capital firm working with technology concerns, or as an entrepreneur in a technology-related field. Amounts are variable.


Steve Tirado Scholarship Endowment Fund
Open to residents of the United States; must be Haas MBA students who are Haas Achievement Award or Merit Scholarship recipients.


Michael Torres Family Fund
The Torres family is passionate about promoting the nurturing and support of business leaders who are committed to giving back to the greater well being of the Latino community.This fund was established to provide scholarship support to students of good academic standing, or entering students, to reward and foster academic excellence.


Blue Duck Scholarship
Sponsored by alumnus John Natt (MBA '69). Awarded to an MBA student who has received his or her undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon.


MBA/MPH Scholarships

Awarded by the faculty of the School of Public Health to students who are in the joint degree program of MBA/MPH.
