29. What academic or social advice would you offer to the incoming class?  
  • •Try new things, be adventurous, but most of all be yourself and try to stay relaxed.
    •Let the MBA experience change you naturally, don't force it.
    •Get to know as many people as possible. Meet the people that you would not meet otherwise. Every Haas student has a fantastic story to tell.
    •Participate in class and get to know your professors.
    •Focus on three main goals that you want to achieve while at Haas.
    •Enjoy everything that the area has to offer. Great food, world-class wine, awesome skiing, great weather.
    •Get involved with things that are not directly related to your career. It is a great opportunity to expand your horizons.
    •Live as close to campus as you can.
    •Focus on learning the concepts in your classes. Do not get hung up on grades.
    •You can't do it all, so make choices and be happy.
    •Challenge yourself. Take risks. Try new things.
