How to Work with Haas Corporate Relations

KEY CONTACT FOR CORPORATE RELATIONS:
Halina Avery: Associate Director, Corporate & Foundation Relations (avery@haas) 510-643-4869

The Haas Corporate and Foundation Relations office (CFR) in collaboration with Career Services, the MBA Program Office and the MBAA, have developed a consolidated approach to corporate outreach to best serve Haas student groups in raising funds, engaging business leaders and finding new corporate partners. This will ensure that student leaders can speak knowledgeably to current and prospective corporate partners.

How CFR can support your student group:

-Share expertise and provide guidance on sponsorship solicitation strategies, corporate giving trends, and ideal phone, email, and snail mail approaches through annual Fundraising workshops and weekly office hours.
-Serve as the Haas School's source for tracking past, current, and prospective sponsors.
-Create a unified Haas Sponsorship Book with information on sponsorship opportunities for each student organization.
-Include relevant student initiatives within customized proposals submitted by staff members in Career Services and Corporate Relations.
-Provide personal acknowledgements from Dean Rich Lyons for every sponsorship gift.
-Provide annual summary of student group sponsorship and corporate giving.
