  Haas Ph.D. Program

The Haas Ph.D. Community
Renowned as one of the world’s preeminent research universities, Berkeley has been educating business leaders since 1868. Berkeley’s faculty – including 18 Nobel laureates, 127 members of the National Academy of Sciences, and 216 members of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences – has made the university a leader in understanding and explaining the economic, political, technological, and social forces driving today’s business environment.

The strength of the faculty in all academic departments, and the breadth of course offerings at Haas, confer life-long advantages on students in the doctoral program. Haas Ph.D. students take seminars, study with faculty members in other departments, and enjoy access to employment opportunities through the network of research institutes across the Berkeley campus.
