Haas Undergraduate Program 2007-2008 Application Process and Selection Criteria for Continuing UC Berkeley Applicants

Continuing UC Berkeley students may only apply once to the Haas Undergraduate Program.
All courses required for admission must be completed by the end of the Spring semester prior to starting at the Haas Undergraduate Program.

November 29
Application must be submitted
online and transcripts must be received by noon in the
Haas Undergraduate Program Office, S450 Haas Student Services
Building. Late applications and/or materials will not
be accepted. Incomplete application packets will not be
reviewed.
January –
March
Review of Haas Applications. In addition to reviewing
applications for completion of minimum eligibility requirements
and academic achievement and promise, the Admission
Committee will review many factors, including performance
in key prerequisites (principles of business, math,
economics, statistics), grade trends, course load, consistency
of academic performance, leadership skills, interest
in being an active member of the Haas community, accomplishments
as demonstrated by extracurricular activities, as well
as communication and analytical skills as demonstrated
by responses to the essay questions.
The following factors are evaluated and weighted as
listed below.

Admission decisions are available on-line at:
https://ugadmissions.haas.berkeley.edu/
Applicants will either receive notification that the application has been denied or notification of conditional admission (pending final review of Spring grades) which includes information about the mandatory summer classes: UGBA 100 and 107. These courses are held during the 2nd six week session of UC Berkeley Summer Sessions which begins on July 7, 2008. Enrollment is mandatory for all newly admitted Haas Undergraduate students.
Appeals must be submitted
by noon in the Undergraduate Program Office, S450 Haas
Student Services Building.
Final admission decisions for conditionally admitted students will be available on-line.
