Elective Courses

In addition to core courses, business majors must complete selected upper division elective courses for a total of at least 32 units.

  • ALL core business courses must be completed at UC Berkeley, but electives may be completed off-campus (in addition to full-time enrollment at UC Berkeley). See Concurrent Enrollment for more information.
  • ALL business courses must be taken for letter grades (unless offered on a P/NP basis only; e.g., 198 & 199), including elective courses completed off-campus. This includes core course substitutions.
