Information for Interested International Students
International students are an important part of the Haas Undergraduate Program and many students from a variety of countries are admitted to our degree program after completing the prerequisite courses at a California Community College or at UC Berkeley. If you are interested in admission to the business major, please see our web site and speak with an advisor in our office:

We also welcome exchange students to spend a semester or a year in the School through the UC sponsored Education Abroad Program. If your home university is a member of this exchange, please request information and an application from your home campus. The application process is lengthy so interested students are encouraged to plan ahead. While exchange students are not required to meet the same admission criteria as the degree candidates, applications are reviewed thoroughly to ensure adequate academic preparation for successful participation in our program. The list of schools participating in EAP is quite extensive. Please contact your home university or check the EAP web page for information.

International students are eligible to enroll in UC Berkeley classes through the UC Extension Concurrent Enrollment Program. However, students are not usually able to enroll until the start of the semester and must choose from classes which are not full and which do not have a wait list. Most business courses are closed to Concurrent Enrollment students due to a heavy demand from UCB students.. University Extension can be reached at:

We thank you for your interest in our program and wish you success in your academic endeavors.
