Undergraduate Program

Applying to the Haas School of Business
Minimum Eligibility for Continuing
UC Berkeley Applicants

Students preparing to apply for the business major must satisfy the general requirements for the University and the following major-specific requirements for the undergraduate program of the Haas School of Business:

All courses required for admission must be completed by the end of the Spring semester prior to starting at the Haas School of Business.

One course may not be used to satisfy both a prerequisite and a breadth requirement for the business administration major. However, the college level language course that is used to satisfy the foreign language requirement may also be used to fulfill a breadth requirement.

Students with exam credit should review the AP, IB and A Level Information to determine how exam credit may be applied to program requirements. Students with college work from accredited schools may fulfill requirements with UC-transferable courses that fit the Haas prerequisite, breadth and foreign language guidelines. Most academic courses are UC-transferable if comparable to courses offered at UC. Vocational and personal enrichment classes do not qualify.

Competition for available seats from first-time bachelor of arts or science candidates does not allow us to review applications from students who have already earned a bachelor's degree.
