Consulting Student Clubs

The Haas Consulting Club is a student-led organization that serves as a key resource for Haas students considering a career in consulting. The club establishes links between consulting firms and Haas students, through the career center and fellow Haas students with consulting backgrounds. The club provides members a number of resources needed to succeed in the recruiting process with consulting firms. Their activities can be divided into:

The Consulting Club provides assistance to get interested students through the recruiting process with workshops and practice with the infamous case interviews. It also assists international students as well as students from the United States on both domestic and international opportunities. To establish relationships between firms and students, the club sponsors firm night activities, provides contacts with alumni and current students affiliated with various firms, invites guest speakers to address important issues, and compiles and distributes a resume book.

Another club that provides hands-on experience opportunities for healthcare students interested in consulting is the Berkeley Solutions Group (BSG). The BSG, sponsored by the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, offers consulting services from Berkeley MBA students at the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley. Their clients, located around the Bay Area, are established and start-up public, private, and nonprofit organizations in various industries. Leveraging a diverse MBA student body that is accessible to work below market rates, BSG is composed of a talented consultant pool with expertise across various business functions and industries, that provides assistance to organizations on a short-term project basis.

Students may also find it useful to participate in clubs and/or programs that overlap with the healthcare consulting sector, such as the Haas Healthcare Association.
