Student Clubs
Healthcare Student Club
Healthcare@Haas (H@H) was the largest student club affiliated with healthcare at Haas. The club aimed to educate students on the multi-faceted nature of the healthcare industry as well as connect students with industry alumni and professionals. The club encompassed all areas of the healthcare industry: provider organizations (hospitals, clinics), technology, health plans, policy, medical products (biopharma, medical devices, diagnostics), and related services (consulting, investment banking). The club provided a forum for students to develop their interests and experiences in healthcare, proactively explore career opportunities, network with alumni and industry leaders, and learn more about new developments and trends in the field.
In 2007, H@H merged with the Berkeley BioBusiness Association (B3A) to create a larger, more effective student club that portrays a holistic view of the many different players in the health industry. The new club, the Haas Healthcare and BioBusiness club (H2B2) is expected to better provide students with a working knowledge of healthcare and how it relates to the dynamic and multi-faceted health industry.
Students may also find it useful to participate in clubs and programs that overlap with the healthcare sector:
- Marketing Club
- Consulting Club
- Bridging the Divide Fellowship
- Universities Allied for Essential Medicines (UAEM)
