NEW GRADS - Evening & Weekend MBA Graduation Info
Following is a "to do" list for Evening & Weekend MBA Program graduates. We have tried to give you all the information you will need for an easy transition out of Haas. More info can be found on the EWMBA website.
COMMENCEMENT
December 2006 and May 2007 graduates are welcome to take part in the Spring 2007 Commencement Ceremony at 9 am, Sunday, May 20, at the Greek Theatre, rain or shine. The Evening & Weekend MBA Program office will contact you in April to ask whether you plan to do so.
You may bring as many guests as you like to the ceremony. The Commencement Reception will take place after the ceremony at the Campanile (clock's tower) from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm. Each graduate receives two complimentary tickets for the reception (you get into the reception free of charge with your cap and gown). You may also purchase as many extra reception tickets as you need for $5 each. These will be available from the Evening & Weekend MBA Program Office in May. Cap and Gown Rental information will be available in April.
DIPLOMA AND GRADES
Your diploma will be ready for distribution in the Registrar's Office, 120 Sproul Hall, about four to six months after you graduate. It can be picked up without charge, but IT IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY MAILED TO YOU. The Registrar's Office will not give it to the Evening & Weekend MBA Program Office. You can have it mailed to you for a modest fee. Do not have it mailed to you if you have arranged with the ASUC Store to frame your diploma. Please make arrangements directly with them for mailing or pick up (510) 642-7028. More Diploma Info
A grade letter will be mailed to your home. If you need an official copy of your transcript, please call the Transcripts office at (510) 642-4721. Be sure to request that your grades and your MBA degree be posted on your transcript before mailing.
