When we receive your complete application (your application form, essay, all supplemental materials, and the application fee), you will be notified by e-mail. An admissions decision will be made and e-mailed to you within two weeks.

Enrolling Students admitted into the Berkeley Business Academy for Youth have 10 days (weekends included) from your acceptance date to enroll online and pay the program fees. You are not enrolled until full payment is received.

International Students

We welcome applications from international students who are proficient in English. You will be interviewed by a member of the Admissions Committee to determine your English proficiency and qualifications for admission to the program, details here.

Visa Requirement

Because Berkeley Business Academy for Youth is a non-credit, two-week program:

  • Citizens of countries who need a visa to enter the United States should obtain a B-2 “Visitor for Pleasure” visa, not an F-1 student visa. This allows students to enjoy tourist activities as well as to participate in Berkeley Business Academy for Youth.
  • Citizens of countries who participate in the Visa Waiver Program should enter the U.S. in WT “Waiver Tourist” status which permits the same flexibility.
