Facilities at Haas

Connie & Kevin Chou Hall

Project Description

The Connie & Kevin Chou Hall is the premier space that will enhance students' opportunities to foster community and experience a world-class education. Our facilities department has made it a priority to ensure that this building will not only have all of the necessary components for students to thrive, but also cutting-edge resources allowing them to excel in their practice. This includes 12 new classrooms, 28 study rooms, a leading edge cafe, as well as a 300-person event space.

An important factor in the construction of this building is the environmental investment. The project has been awarded certified LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Status due to the building's environmentally friendly approach in the building's design, development, and maintenance. This project is highlighted by an environmentally conscious construction, 40% reduction in water use, and improved energy efficiency by 38% throughout.
