O'Donnell Courtyard

Project Description

The O'Donnell Courtyard Project comprised of the renovation and replacement of the intrusive elevated planters that were once present between the faculty building and the student classrooms. In order to foster a sense of community on campus, the new courtyard has been replaced with uninterrupted space shaded by 12 new maple trees. Stone pavers engraved with the Defining Principles lend a subtle reminder of the culture that unites the school. Accompanied by tables, the courtyard has become a popular area for lunches, group meetings, and a variety of other functions, such as career fairs, alumni events, and class orientations.
