Stan Lujan, MBA 91

It took Stan a few years after graduating from Haas to convince his wife Amy to accompany him on his return to Alaska.  After making the move in 1993, Stan put his Haas training to work and continued to advance in K-12 education administration, finally retiring in 2008 after serving as Superintendent of the Nome Public Schools for seven years.  Currently living in Juneau, Stan works part-time on K-12 education projects as a consultant and as a Professor for the University of Alaska.  He also enjoys pursuing his hobbies, which include travel, hiking, master gardening and volunteer service as Vice President of the Juneau Symphony and with other local organizations.
