Cora Jane Flood Award

The Cora Jane Flood Award recognizes an alumna or volunteer who has made a significant impact on the Haas School through their philanthropy. Ms. Flood provided the seed money for the College of Commerce on September 3, 1898, when she donated a Menlo Park residence and 550-acre tract of land to UC Berkeley. This gift was the largest private contribution in the university's then 30-year history and established the college now known as the Haas School of Business. Cora Jane Flood's generosity laid the groundwork for a legacy that supports generations of students and future leaders.
