Linda Yach serves the Haas alumni and EWMBA student populations, helping them identify their sweet spot and shift into jobs or careers that energize them as well as advising them in a variety of areas including resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and interview preparation. She has consulted with Lee Hecht Harrison, an international outplacement company that assists employees who have been displaced as a result of downsizing—delivering career transition services through one-on-one coaching and group workshops—to individuals in the technology, manufacturing, biotech, and financial services industries. Once a month, she facilitates a Speaking Circle,® a small-group public speaking modality that transforms the way people communicate by focusing on the connection between speaker and listeners.
Linda has firsthand experience in career transition, having explored a number of careers herself, starting out as a public school bilingual educator, a web content master at InfoWorld, and a paralegal in several law firms and in Nestlé USA's legal department.
She holds a B.A. in Spanish from The University of St. Thomas and spent a year living and working in Spain following graduation. In 2009, she received her coaching certification from The Coaches Training Institute in San Rafael, and has been working with individuals to discover their "what's next" ever since.
