Gina Shafransky, BS 01 – Australia -- Gina Shafransky

I was born in Kazakhstan and immigrated to the United States with my family when I was twelve years old. I graduated in 2001 from the Haas School of Business with a B.S. in Business Administration (Highest Honors) with Global Management Concentration as well as B.A. in Economics (Highest Distinction) with a minor in Spanish Language. In my last year at Haas, I was selected for the education abroad exchange program and studied in the Faculty of Commerce and Economics at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia focusing my studies in the area of international business. After graduating from Haas, I was offered to work in Sydney, Australia.

For the past year and half, I have worked as a client reporting accountant at Hays Personnel Services Pty Ltd, a UK based recruitment company with over 250 offices worldwide, where as a team leader I am responsible for developing and managing the reporting and invoicing process of major clients. Currently, I am planning to do a Masters of Commerce degree at the University of New South Wales with a focus in Professional Accounting.
