George moved to Boston in May 2004 to become the first CFO at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc., a 50 year old consulting engineering firm.  Prior to that, George spent 15 years as the CFO at EQE International, Inc. a consulting engineering and software services company. 

George has also spent time in the alternative energy field, primarily wind and hydroelectric, as well as in the vegetable oil products industry.  After leaving public accounting he joined a division of Fruehauf Corporation that manufactured container cargo handling cranes, barges, etc. 

George received his BS in Accounting from California State University at Sacramento and his MBA from UC Berkeley.  He is married and has one son who lives in Manhattan.
