Dana Redford is the Principal of consulting firm, Redford Research International with offices in Lisbon and New York. He is a marketing research and management consultant with comprehensive knowledge of business planning, market research and internationalization strategy. Dana has consulted for AEP – The Portuguese Business Association as the lead consultant for their internationalization efforts into North America in 2004. He and his company are also the lead market research consultants for Deloitte Portugal. Over the past 4 years Redford Research International has done additional projects for Andersen Portugal, ATX Software, Espirito Santo Data Informática, Luma, University of Lisbon and US Commerce Department. Dana is currently enrolled in the doctoral program at ISCTE Business School in Lisbon where he is writing his thesis on, “Fostering and Promoting Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Portugal”. In 2005, Dana was invited to be a Visiting Scholar at the University of California at Berkeley. He also attended the Berkeley Executive Program in October, 2005. Dana has given various talks at business conferences throughout Europe and the United States in his subject area. Since 2004, Dana has been a Guest Lecturer at the ISCTE/INDEG Executive-MBA program. Currently, he serves as the 2nd Vice President on the Board of Directors of the American Club of Lisbon. Previously, in Houston, Texas, Dana was the Market Research Manager of WorldByNET.com, a company that developed the first Internet-based, bilingual content management software. He also served on the Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association-Houston Chapter and the University of Colorado Alumni Association. Dana has extensive international experience having completed both quantitative and qualitative studies in Australia, United States, Mexico, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand. Dana is an honors graduate from the University of Colorado-Boulder and completed his undergraduate thesis on the government-business relationship in Singapore. Dana's interests include classical music, creative writing, basketball, paragliding and traveling.
