  • Brand yourself as a graduate of one of the nation's top business schools
  • Never have to notify family, friends, and colleagues of a new email address when you change jobs or Internet Service Providers

  • This is a free email forwarding service. It's not an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or an email storage system. To be eligible for a Haas email forwarding address, you must have an existing email address through an email service provider.

    Here's the simple process:
    1. Go to Haas@cal, our alumni online community.
    2. Then click the Email Forwarding link.
    3. Follow the prompts.

    SIGN UP NOW

NOTE: If you've never registered with our current or previous Alumni Online Community, you must do so before step 2. This first time only, you'll need your unique ID Number located above your name on the address label of most mailings you've received from Haas. (Or it may be in any eHAN or email promotion we've sent you.) You can begin the registration without it; you'll be emailed with a entry key within a few business hours. You may also contact the alumni office for your ID # at alumni@haas.berkeley.edu or (510) 642-7790.

    Frequently Asked Questions:

    What is Lifelong Email Forwarding?
Lifelong email is a forwarding service provided by the Haas Alumni Network that allows you to keep just one email address for life.

What are the advantages of having a lifetime email address?

You essentially "brand" yourself as a graduate of one of the top business schools in the nation.

And, your Haas Email Forwarding address is the last one you'll need to give to your family, friends, and most colleagues, because your forwarding address won't ever change, even when your "real" email changes.

If your "real" email changes, you simply click the Email Forwarding link from any Haas Alumni Network web page and follow the prompts to have your Haas brand email forwarded to your new "real" email address.

What is the difference between an alias email forwarding address (@mba.berkeley.edu) and a "real" email address?

The alias address you choose is not actually located on a server. It goes through the Haas server, finds your "real" email address, and routes it to that designated address.

A "real" email address is 1) an email that you obtain working for a company or institution that has its own server, 2) an email that you obtain by paying money to an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or 3) an email that you obtain by having access to one of the many of the web companies that provide this service (such as Hotmail or Yahoo)

    How does Email Forwarding work?
Once you sign up, messages sent to your forwarding address will be re-routed to your active "real" email account that you designate.

    How much does it cost?
Nothing. This is a free service provided by the Haas Alumni Network.

Who can register for this service?
This service is only available to alumni and students of the Haas School of Business.
