Dear Alumni and Friends,

This is a time of profound change in the world and at the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley.

Our Haas School is forging ahead with aggressive changes to the curriculum, the campus, and the size and makeup of the faculty. These changes will help students, faculty, and alumni thrive and deliver solutions to some of the world’s most thorny challenges.

At Berkeley, researchers and business leaders (students, faculty, researchers, and alumni) are on the cusp of breakthroughs in any number of fields – from sustainable energy, biotech, and information technology to social entrepreneurship and the fight against global poverty, hunger and disease.

The University is at the vortex of incredible and timely research in science, economics, business, and public policy. Our Haas School regularly collaborates and innovates with the School of Engineering, the Energy Biosciences Institute, and the School of Natural Resources, to name just a few. Despite our strides, we are faced with enormous economic threats. We, as alumni, cannot sit passively on the sidelines hoping for the best. We must roll up our sleeves and get involved to make it happen!

The job simply does not get done without our active support and connectivity. We must invest in our faculty, our programs, and in our students to make sure that we deliver on the best of many possible futures.

Please join a growing list of over 4,000 alumni that are investing in the Haas Annual Fund each year!

Whether you contribute time, talent or treasure, your gifts will make a concrete and visible difference! This year, our goal is to raise $3 million in gifts to the Haas Annual Fund. Over the next few years, we hope to grow that number to $5 million. Please help us get there by making a gift today!
