UC BERKELEY YOUNG BEAR AWARD: Filip Nowak, BS 08, received the prestigious Young Bear Award this past May from the UC Berkeley Foundation for his phenomenal leadership, innovation and success in the Haas Senior Gift Campaign. He led his class to a record-breaking 45% pledge and gift rate in this wildly successful student fundraising campaign, and his efforts were recognized by Chancellor Birgeneau.
