Blum is the Founder, Chairman, and President of Blum Capital Partners, LP, which manages $4 billion in capital. He is also Founder and Chairman of the American Himalayan Foundation, an organization that provides healthcare, educational, environmental, and social services throughout the Himalayan region. In recognition of the enduring support, exceptional service, and strong leadership that he has shown to the Haas School and UC Berkeley, Blum was honored with the school's 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award.
