M. Anthony Burns

Burns is chairman emeritus of Ryder Systems, having retired in 2002 after serving in several key leadership positions. He serves on the boards of Pfizer Inc., Black & Decker Corp., and J.C. Penny Company, Inc. He is chairman of the Second Century Fund of the Performing Arts Center of Greater Miami and has served on the boards of United Way, American Red Cross, National Urban League, and Boy Scouts of America. He is also a former director of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
