Thomas Schneider

After leaving the Lawrence Radiation Laboratories, Schneider focused on e-commerce, developing the systems that lead to the first automatic execution of security trades (in 1969). In 1970 he began an association with Dean Witter, playing a key role in the 1977 merger of Morgan Stanley and Dean Witter. Schneider was named the Haas School’s “Business Leader of the Year” in 1999.
