Haas BS 2003 – 5th Year Reunion!

 

There are special activities planned for your 5th Year Reunion. We look forward to seeing you at Homecoming!

 

Alumni and guests of the Haas School will reunite for a special weekend to honor your class' anniversary. Events are scheduled for the weekend of October 3 - 5. The annual Haas Homecoming Celebration on Saturday, October 4th kicks off with a seminar about "2.0 Technology Strategies." Haas will then host a special lecture by NEW Dean Rich Lyons discussing the state of the school. The day's activities include our pre-game Mexican Fiesta Luncheon in the Haas Courtyard with live music and special activities for kids. Then, it's off to Memorial Stadium to watch the Golden Bears defeat the Arizona State Sun Devils. Join us for a great day back on campus. All Haas alumni, faculty, students and guests are encouraged to join us! In addition, there will be special, reserved tables at the Blue and Gold Dinner on Friday, October 3rd for BS 2003 alumni.

 

Blue and Gold Reunion Dinner - Friday, October 3rd

There will be special seating at the Blue & Gold Dinner at Pauley Ballroom on Friday, October 3rd for the Haas Class of 2003. Tickets are available for individual purchase or purchase a table of 10 at a discounted rate. Each class will have a special section at the event and Haas grads will be seated together. The deadline to register for the Haas Homecoming Fiesta and lectures is Monday, September 22nd at 10:00pm PST. Additional tickets for the Fiesta Lunch, if available, can be purchased at Homecoming on October 4th at the Registration Table in the Haas Courtyard.

 

Haas Reserved, Discounted Homecoming Football Tickets - Saturday, October 4th

 

We have set aside a block of reserved, discounted football tickets for the Homecoming game on Saturday, October 4th especially for the Class of 2003. They are in Section W at Memorial Stadium and you will be surrounded by your classmates, family and friends to watch Cal beat Arizona State! (The football game time has not yet been confirmed due to television schedules.) Tickets are at the group rate of $34 each, not including Cal Athletics fees.  Purchase your tickets early as the game will sell out.

Find out how you and your business can benefit from the millions of active users online that are powering up the Web 2.0 economy.   Apply exponential thinking and best practices in network effects, collective user value and social media business models to your own business, ventures, investments, customers and partners in an engaging workshop by  Haas alumna, Amy Shuen.

 

Amy Shuen is a former Haas and Wharton b-school professor, and an internationally recognized authority on Silicon Valley business models. The award-winning strategy researcher and consultant has recently authored Web 2.0:  A Strategy Guide, which is gaining favorable reviews and media attention.   Amy is now a Professor at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and commutes to Shanghai from the Bay Area and Seattle.

"Growth, Innovation and the Haas School."
Dean Lyons will discuss what he learned in New York while serving as Chief Learning Officer at Goldman Sachs, including the concept of growth leadership, how stewardship becomes culture, and what teamwork can mean in terms of specific behavior. He will then link these and other ideas to the strategic positioning of the Haas School today and going forward.
