Cleantech to Market Program Expands,
Bringing Berkeley Expertise to Other Institutions

A flexible magnet that can make motors lighter and more efficient and a roofing material made from a stew of mulched cardboard are promising green technologies—but only if they can be brought to market. Now in its sixth year, finding commercial pathways is the mission of Haas' Cleantech to Market (C2M) program. The experiential class pairs scientists with multidisciplinary teams of graduate students who develop commercialization plan and attracted applicants from CalTech and Carnegie Mellon this year.
