The Full-Time Berkeley MBA Program placed #11 in the world in Expansion magazine's ranking of the 2012 best global MBAs for Mexico, released Jan. 30. Berkeley-Haas also ranked #11 last year.

Professors Win Schwabacher Fellowships
Assistant Professors Zsolt Katona and Panos Patatoukas have been awarded Schwabacher Fellowships by the Haas Executive Committee in recognition of their research and teaching.

Berkeley-Haas Wins Venture Capital Competition
An interdisciplinary team that includes Berkeley MBA students won the regional Venture Capital Investment Competition at Santa Clara University. The CrossCal Associates team will go on to the national competition at the University of North Carolina's Kenan Flagler Business School in April.

Berkeley-Columbia Graduating Class Gives Back
Two-thirds of the graduating class of the Berkeley-Columbia Executive MBA Program made a donation to the Haas Fund this year, helping to raise $34,000 for the school.

 

67 Faculty Members Make "Club 6" for Teaching
Students gave 67 faculty members, or about 47 percent of all instructors, a mean teaching score of at least six on a seven-point scale during the fall 2011 semester.
