Undergrad Kylan Nieh to Carry Olympic Torch in London
Kylan Nieh, BS 14, had spent countless hours training to be an Olympic gymnast when an injury sidelined him before high school. Now, in recognition of his accomplishments outside of the gymnasium, Nieh was selected by Olympic sponsor Coca-Cola to participate in the London games in July as an official Olympic torch bearer.
Prof. Robert Helsley Appointed Dean of UBC Sauder
Haas School Prof. Robert Helsley will be dean of the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business. Helsley joined Haas in 2008 and served as chair in Real Estate Development, Haas Real Estate group, and co-chair of the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics.
