Berkeley-Haas Celebrates Nomination of Business Professor Janet Yellen to Head Federal Reserve

Colleagues and friends at UC Berkeley are celebrating Haas Professor Janet Yellen's nomination by President Obama to become the first woman to head the Federal Reserve.

 
 


Haas Jumps to #3 in Economist Ranking

The Full-time Berkeley MBA Program climbed to #3 in the international Economist "Which MBA?" ranking. Berkeley-Haas moved up to #3 from #6 last year. University of Chicago's Booth School of Business was ranked first, followed by Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business.

Undergrads Who Advise Delaying Solar IPO Win Investment Banking Competition
A team of three Haas undergraduates and one economics student who advised SolarCity to delay its IPO took first place in the 16th Annual Investment Banking Case Competition.

Miner Safety Team Wins 2013 Intel Global Challenge
A Chilean team that designed wearable sensors to collect and transmit industrial workers' biomedical data won the grand prize at the ninth annual Intel Global Challenge on Oct. 9.
