About CareerNet

Haas CareerNet is the Chetkovich Career Center MBA student intranet, providing career management resources and access to our On-Campus Recruiting system.

CareerNet resources are organized by the 4 phases of the Career Management Model:

Career Management Model

  1. EVALUATE: Self-evaluation and self-assessment (interests, abilities and values) resources.
  2. EXPLORE & RESEARCH: Resources for investigating various industries, careers and companies.
  3. PREPARE: Resources and tools for marketing yourself and preparing for your job search (i.e. writing resumes and cover letters, networking and preparing for interviews).
  4. PERFORM: Resources to match students with potential employers. The two areas of this phase include:

    • On-Campus Recruiting System coordinates and schedules interviews for the over 100 companies that participate in formal recruiting for both internships and full-time positions. Students can submit their cover letter and resume through CareerNet for On-Campus Interviews. The company will then let the Recruitment Center know which students they would like to interview and/or give students the opportunity to bid on interview slots.
    • Off-Campus Career Search resources, which include our job posting database and external links to job sites, help students pro-actively seek targeted opportunities.
