Lisa is a 1995 MBA graduate of Berkeley. She has been determined to prove that with an MBA you can do anything you want. After putting her degree through its paces in high tech marketing, services strategy, and operations, she returned to Haas in 2002 as an industry Account Manager in the MBA Career Services Organization. In 2007 she was promoted to Director of Recruiting, overseeing the Account Management team, and in the fall of 2011 she became the Executive Director. Lisa received her undergraduate degree from Brown and also has an MA in Victorian Studies from the University of Toronto.

Our Account Managers have strong relationships with companies in specific industry groups. They partner with employers to set their recruiting strategy at Haas. Account Managers also assist students in refining their career search once they have developed a plan with a Career Advisor.
Jenn Bridge, Director of Recruiting

Jenn joined Haas after spending thirteen years in the retail and consulting industries. Prior to her role as the Director of Recruiting, Jenn spent four years as the Berkeley MBA Career Management Account Manager responsible for developing and managing relationships with consulting firms, consumer packaged goods companies and retailers looking to hire Haas students into their organizations. Before Haas, she was a recruiting manager for Booz Allen Hamilton, a global strategy consulting firm, and was responsible for all aspects of recruiting MBA candidates, including developing on-campus brand building strategies and marketing programs that supported their recruiting efforts. Prior to Booz Allen, Jenn spent eleven years at Gap Inc. where she held various positions in marketing and strategy for the Gap, Banana Republic and International divisions. Jenn holds a BA in technical writing and marketing from San Francisco State University.

Courtney is focused on Financial Services and Real Estate. Prior to Haas, Courtney was an Experienced Hire Recruiter for Investment Banking, Global Transaction Banking and Global Markets at Deutsche Bank in New York. She began her Wall Street career at Lehman Brothers as a Campus Recruiter focusing on the MBA, PhD, and MFE populations for Investment Banking: Product & Coverage groups and Capital Markets: Sales, Trading & Research. She covered business schools throughout the US including the Johnson School, Darden, Rice and UT. Having always lived in New York, Courtney holds a BA from Colgate University and a Masters in Social Work from NYU.
Virginia Martin, Consulting and CPG/Retail

Virginia is an Account Manager at Haas focused on Consulting, CPG, and Retail companies. Prior to Haas, Virginia was an MBA Recruiter at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), starting in the Boston office and then transferring to San Francisco in 2008. During her time at BCG she led the recruiting efforts at MIT Sloan, Tuck, and Haas. She was also involved in MBA hiring at the office level, and interacted with various business school programs across the country. Virginia was very involved in all aspects of recruiting at BCG; from planning, marketing and branding to interviews, conversion, and on-boarding. Prior to BCG, Virginia lived in New York where she worked with BlissWorld in their publicity department, before starting her Recruiting career at the CitiStaffing agency. There she was responsible for sourcing candidates for some of the biggest fashion houses in Manhattan. Virginia holds a BA from Boston College with a major in English and minor in Communications.

After achieving his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Haas, Rich worked in the field and obtained his California CPA license. He then earned his MBA in finance at UCLA, leading to a 17 year high-tech finance career at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Rich joined Haas in 1999 as one of the inaugural industry account managers where he utilizes his educational and professional experience to help students and companies in his sectors - technology, media/entertainment, non-profit and socially responsible business - achieve recruiting success.
For years, Rich has kept close tabs on Silicon Valley activity and has built strong relationships in the industry.

Betsy works with both employers and students in the areas of energy & cleantech, social impact and healthcare/biotech. A few years ago when the school recognized the growing student interest in cleantech, Betsy successfully partnered with faculty, students and alumni to develop industry relationships and grow the number of opportunities we provide to our MBAs in this very strategic area. Similarly, in all of her industry areas, she continues to build relationships with employers. Betsy is committed to helping students navigate their career searches, with a particular emphasis on the network-driven, off-campus job search.
Betsy holds a BA in History from UCLA. Prior to Haas, she worked in MBA recruiting at Booz Allen Hamilton in New York. A proud east bay native, Betsy grew up just a few miles down the street from Berkeley and enjoys exploring new restaurants in her north Oakland neighborhood. Outside of Haas, she is active with the UCLA alumni association advising prospective students.

Jocelyn has been with the Career Management Group, in MBA Recruiting, since 2000 and worked in Counseling & Career Services at UCSB prior to that. To help get students ready for On-Campus Recruiting (OCR), she created and recorded the “Navigating the OCR Process” self-study workshop. She manages recruiting logistics for companies and is a great resource for all OCR questions. Both in and outside of Haas, Jocelyn teaches accent reduction and provides speech coaching and vocal training. She grew up in San Francisco and New York and studied music and vocal performance at UC Santa Barbara.

Tamera is an event planning specialist. She manages a variety of recruiting events and also assists with the day-to-day operations of on-campus recruiting and other employer services. Prior to Haas, Tamera worked for UC Berkeley’s Moving & Event Services. Before joining the UC Berkeley team, she worked for hotels and catering companies as a manager working with corporate, social and academic clients from throughout the bay area.

Pat DeMasters joined the Haas School of Business in 2006 as Director of Career Management for the Evening & Weekend MBA Program, the Berkeley-Columbia Executive MBA Program and MBA alumni. Prior to Haas, she was the senior director for the North Bay practice of Spherion Human Capital Consulting where she focused on coaching and/or advising senior- and mid-level clients from financial services, biotech, consumer products and technology industries. She has 15 years experience in Human Capital Consulting which includes career transition/outplacement, career development, training, & program development serving clients in the Bay Area, US and abroad.

Debra is the Associate Director of Career Management and a graduate of the Haas MBA program. After graduating from Haas, Debra worked in real estate investment and development in the Bay area and then joined the Haas Career Management Organization as the ACRE (Accelerating Careers in Real Estate) Program Manager. Prior to earning her MBA she worked in finance, primarily in technology investment banking for CIBC World Markets and in audit for Ernst & Young UK. Debra, a native of New Orleans, also holds a BS in International Trade & Finance from Louisiana State University.

Lesah has more than twenty years of deep and broad career counseling experience as an independent career consultant, trainer, product developer and small business owner. Lesah has been at the Haas School for over twelve years as a career advisor and program manager. She has developed and managed many programs including the Career Coaches and Super Saturday Interview Program and most recently the new Haas Virtual Interview Coaching Program. In 1987 Lesah launched SkillScan, a publishing business that develops and markets innovative skills assessment tools to universities and colleges, adult career centers, career counselors and corporations. SkillScan is used by thousands of college and universities throughout the U.S.
Lesah holds an MS degree in Counseling and a BA degree in Psychology from San Diego State University. She is a Certified Toastmaster and travels throughout the U.S. conducting trainings on SkillScan products and is a regular presenter at the International Career Development Conference.

With a background in law, marketing and admissions, Mark joined Haas in 2001 after working for the MBA program at the University of Maryland. Following judicial clerkships in Alaska and attorney positions in Washington, D.C., he entered the business world by joining the Princeton Review, where he taught students, trained instructors, designed courses and served in various corporate roles including Special Project Manager and Director of Marketing. As an MBA Career Advisor, Mark works with all students but has a particular focus in financial services.
Away from Haas, Mark is active with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training triathlon program. He received a BS in economics and a BA in international relations from UC Davis and a JD from the American University's Washington College of Law.

Luke Kreinberg primarily serves Berkeley-Columbia Executive MBA students and alumni, specializing in helping students to move forward in their careers. He helps them gain clarity about objectives as well as identify the competencies they need to flourish in their professional lives. Some of the companies he's coached at include: Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, and Yahoo. Luke graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at Davis with a BA in international relations. He received his Coaching Certification from New Ventures West in San Francisco. In his former life, Luke served as a partner in a boutique search firm and developed learning curricula for emerging technology firms. He is the author of The Book of Goals: Achievements, Plans, and Dreams of a Lifetime which has sold 100,000+ copies. Luke swims and gardens, but not at the same time.

Currently, she is a marketing and strategy consultant advising clients in strategic marketing and branding, and product development and implementation initiatives. Her educational background includes an MBA in Marketing from UCLA's Anderson School.

Sheri's focus is on career advising and career program development for international students and others interested in pursuing international careers. She is the CMG liaison to the European Business, Pac Rim, Latin America and Hispanic Business and Global Initiatives clubs. Sheri has spent the majority of her professional life in Career Management at Haas and other Bay Area organizations. She's knowledgeable of the competitive requirements of most MBA career tracks and familiar with the many resources available to help students reach their career goals. Sheri is particularly adept with helping student with self-assessment
Sheri regularly contributes to professional groups such as the Chazen/International MBA Career Conference, Going Global and the University of California International Business Consortium. She holds a masters degree in Spanish from San Francisco State University, has studied at universities in Mexico and Spain and completed graduate business coursework at Golden Gate University.

John is a certified Executive Coach from the Hudson Institute. Prior to establishing the Haas MBA alumni and Berkeley-Columbia Executive MBA career management programs, he was a Senior Consultant with Lee Hecht Harrison providing career transition services for Fortune 100 companies in the finance, bioscience, telecommunications, public utility, and healthcare industries. He is a small business owner and has worked as a corporate recruiter and in the retained search field as an executive recruiter. He has held a variety of positions at the national director and management level in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.
He has earned an MA in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University, Graduate School of Management and has a BS degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration from Humboldt State University. John is on the advisory board for the Association of Career Professionals International.

Born and raised in the Boston area, Christine has been a resident of Berkeley for the past 20 years. Before joining Haas, Christine worked in the retail, banking and specialty food industries with positions in sales, marketing, production and operations. Jojo Lam is a UC Berkeley alumna with a degree in Political Science. Raised in Southern California, Jojo has called Berkeley home for the past five years. She remains active with her college sorority chapter as the chapter advisor, mentoring over 80 college women in collaborative leadership styles and conflict management. As a technical recruiter in the Bay Area for several years, Jojo brings her experience in employer/candidate relations, and in-depth knowledge of the job search process to the Program Manager position. She is also the main point of contact for issues related to MBA CareerNet. Jojo is a proud member of a UC family. Her brother is a student in the Full-time MBA program, her sister graduated from UCSB last spring, and her youngest sister just completed her second year at Cal.

As the program assistant, Shana is a main point of contact for all questions involving CareerNet, calendaring and program logistics. Born and raised in Southern California, she is a Chapman University alumna with a BA in Communication Studies and Public Relations. Prior to Haas, she worked as a technical recruiter in the Bay Area, specializing primarily in energy and engineering. In her free time, she serves as an advisor for the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and hosts resume workshops for undergraduate students throughout the Bay Area.

She also has an extensive background in volunteer work with Acalanes High School where she has been President of the Parents Club and editor of their weekly e-newsletter. Jeanne is a UCLA alumna with a BA in Economics. Having received her MBA in a part-time program, she is familiar with the specific needs and challenges of our students.
