Career Advising Professionals
Haas Career Advisors have the experience and expertise to help you determine your career goals, develop your skills, and structure and implement an effective job search.
In addition to our core team of staff professionals, the Career Center brings in a number of independent career consultants to serve as Adjunct Advisors. With a wide range of experience in various functions and industries, Adjunct Advisors are available to assist you you with advising, mock interviews, and career coaching.

Account Managers
Career Services also employs a team of four Account Managers to develop relationships with companies and coordinate career events. Together, they have the industry knowledge and experience to assist students in refining their career search once they have developed a plan with a Career Advisor. Each Account Manager works with specific industry groups:

2nd Year Career Coaches
During their second year at Haas, daytime MBA students have the opportunity to serve as peer counselors to first-year MBA students. By bringing personal experience and insight into the career and job search process, these counselors provide the following assistance:
- Resume critiques and interviewing guidance.
- Interviewing guidance and mock interviews with insightful feedback.
- Recruiting resources focused on particular functions, industries and companies.
Continuous Professional Development
Workshops and Programs are offered throughout the year to provide students with the opportunity to learn and practice career search skills that will last a lifetime. Our *Premium Programs focus on developing a specific strength or skill set. These programs are often once-a-year events, taught by or in collaboration with experts in their field, and are specifically tailored to meet the needs of the Berkeley MBA student. For an experience that you can't get anywhere else, *Premium Programs shouldn't be missed.
Industry Clubs: The Haas School of Business sponsors a variety of clubs catering to the needs of students. Several clubs have an industry focus and enable students to increase their knowledge of an industry, or establish contacts with current students, alumni and leaders in the field.
Industry Courses: One unit, student-initiated courses
are offered each Fall in numerous industry areas. These often
include Consulting, Financial Services, Marketing and Technology.
These courses, taught mostly by guest lecturers from industry,
are designed to expose students to a variety of current topics
and issues happening in business.
Business Cards are a necessity when networking and interviewing. Business cards are available with the Haas
