Haas students earned high honors at national case competitions in the fall and spring semesters.
Undergraduate students Allen Chang, Jas Khaira, Mary Tran, and John Wilson won first place at the University of Texas International Business Challenge Case Competition in October.
Undergraduates John Yoon, Yoon Um, Dan Lee, and Amy Lee won the Investment Banking Case Competition at the Haas School in October.
MBA students Marek Fibrich, Julie Golderer, Dina Koss, Adrian Polak, Eric Schrumpf, and Scott Youdall took 1st place at the Real Estate Finance Challenge in Austin, Texas in November.
Undergraduate Todd Gilman, Jeff Holiday, Yelena Nisenbaum, and Navid Oreizy placed 2nd at the Copenhagen Business School Case Competition in Denmark in March.
MFE students Liran Amrany, Ambika Bisla, Khalid Khan, Boris Albul, and Veneta Ilieva took home a second place award from April’s Financial Engineering Case Competition in New York.
Evening and Weekend MBA student Niko Letuni, was on the winning team at the first-ever national gay and lesbian business case competition, held in April as part of the sixth annual “Reaching Out MBA” conference for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered (LGBT) MBA students.
