In 2003 the Hong Kong Haas Alumni Association celebrated another great year of bringing community to Haas Alumni in Hong Kong, and providing closer connection to the University. As a hub for Asia Pacific, the Hong Kong Haas Alumni Network takes a leadership role in facilitating closer cooperation with chapters around the region especially Shanghai, Beijing, and Singapore.
The chapter’s Dim Sum luncheons frequently feature distinguished alumni figures from the Hong Kong and international community. Past speakers include: Chancellor Berdahl, Professor Tien, Dean Tyson, Professor Robinson, Asst. Vice Chancellor International Relations Hsiao, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Professor Chu, HKUST-Kellogg President Chia, US Senior Officer to ADB Stewart Ballard, and many others.
