Skills Taught
Basic business skills, teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving, PowerPoint/Word/Excel skills, public speaking and opportunity recognition.
Mentor Responsibilities
Learn curriculum and teach the principles to groups of middle school students
Mentor Requirements
Have an interest in mentoring our local youth. Attend at least 80% of the sessions.
Meeting Time
3:30-5:30 on either Monday/Wednesdays or Tuesday/Thursdays at the partner Middle School campuses
Location
Five east bay middle school campuses.
Duration of Program
Volunteer for the entire school year, usually from October-May.
