student photo Whether you're in middle, early or late high school, there's a YEAH program that can help you get the skills you need to enter college and become a successful business leader.
The goals of the After School Business Clubs, Saturday Business Academy and Springboard Leadership Programs are tailored to fit the needs of students at specific grade levels. Common to all of the programs are activities that support the 'four pillars' of YEAH's mission:
  • » Learning how people, individuals and groups act in organizations
  • » Connecting with others through community service
  • » Studying and applying basic business principles
  • » Leveraging opportunities to gain recognition

Program Description Teams of Haas students help lay the foundation for an interest in higher education with middle school youth. After School Business Club members develop a sense of confidence through engaging social enterprise activities that have a real impact on the community. Each year these clubs earn and donate thousands of dollars to the charity of their choice. 9th and 10th grade students develop critical academic, interpersonal and career skills while learning the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and business. Students work in teams with Haas mentors to present their recommendations to solve real-world business problems in case study presentations. Through a program specifically designed to meet the needs of 11th and 12th graders, Springboard provides a wide variety of college-pathway support, including SAT preparation, financial aid workshops, and an East Coast college tour. In addition, students participate in summer internships that expose them to positive corporate role models and expand their horizons to see what success after college looks like.
