Leadership, College readiness, financial literacy and business etiquette skills.
Mentor Responsibilities
Show up on time. Be a positive role model. Have at least a basic understanding of business principles and/or youth development. Commit to spending time following up with students during the weeks between sessions.
Mentor Requirements
Have an interest in mentoring our local youth. Attend at least 80% of the sessions.
Mentor Time Commitment
3-6 hours per month in Saturday Sessions and 1 hour per week for contacting and following up with students.
Meeting Time
Designated Saturday Mornings: 9:00am-12 noon during the school year.
Location
Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley
Duration of Program
Volunteer for the entire school year, usually from October-May.
