The Haas School's California Management Review is recruiting for a temporary contract  Administrative Officer position.

Responsibilities

ADMINISTRATION:  
Use various administrative tools (e.g. DBs, Google Docs, BFS) to process unit data, update website, and manage files and projects. Design, run, prepare, and summarize unit performance reports making recommendations for resource planning, including approaches, trends, sources, and uses.

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS:
Manage both internal and external communications to increase sales and improve unit performance. For example: press releases, newsletter, unit literature.

Develop and implement full-scale marketing plan.  Oversee all efforts carried out as part of this plan.

Design, create, and implement print and digital marketing and promotional efforts.  Includes creating copy for websites, email templates, broadcast notifications, etc.

Conceive and manage all social and digital media needs.  For example: video content, website, Facebook, Twitter, Google Ads.

Produce Management Summaries for longer, academic published content.

Work with other departments/units (e.g., UC Press, Haas' MarCom) to ensure unit's marketing & communications efforts are in line with vision and overall goals of department and school.

SUPERVISION:
Supervise small staff of students, prioritizing job tasks and providing guidance to ensure their successful productivity.

RESEARCH:   
Research current trends and tools in publishing and marketing to conceive, design, and implement value-add initiatives for unit..

SPECIAL PROJECTS:   
Work both independently and as part of a team to complete special projects as needed. E.g., Best Article award, case competition, video creation contest, website redesign..

Required Qualifications

•  Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
•  Working knowledge of common campus-specific and other computer application programs.
•  Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, both verbally and in writing.
•  Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task with demanding time-frames.
•  Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
•  Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this full-time, one-year  contract position will range between $42,000 annually up to $62,300 annually.
