Salary: This is a full-time career position, classified by the university as a Programmer Analyst III.  The salary will range from $59,676 up to $82,128 annually,  plus benefits.

Job Description:

Haas School of Business' Computing Services is responsible for the provision of computing and technology services and applications development for the business school, supporting over 3000 faculty, staff, students, and research affiliates.

We are recruiting a full-time employee to join our software application development team.


Responsibilities:


* Develop project definition and specification documentation for new Web applications
* Develop, document and test new Web applications
* Provide maintenance for the Web applications in production
* Communicate with customers


Requirements & Qualifications:


• Broad understanding of Web application developments and relational databases
• Intermediate-to advanced-level programming skills
• At least 5 years of programming experience required
• Experience working with complicated data models
• At least 3 years of experience developing database-backed Web applications using ASP.NET, C# and SQL
• Business analysis skills
• Effective writing and communication skills, able to provide technical documentation
• Must be a highly effective communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts to customers both orally and in writing and effectively communicate with administrative staff, in training environment, verbally and in writing
• Must be able to successfully translate customer requirements into technical specifications for development
• Solid skills developing enterprise-grade Web applications
