Salary: This is a full-time career position which has been classified by the university as a Senior Administrative Analyst. The salary will range from $49,284 up to $63,500, plus benefits.

Job Description:
The Corporate and Foundation Relations unit within the Haas School of Business’ Development and Alumni Relations Office is primarily responsible for building financial support for all areas of the school from corporations and foundations. We accomplish this through identification of prospects, developing and managing relationships, and serving as financial stewards for the corporate and foundation funds. The Associate Director is a key member of the team. The incumbent is primarily responsible for increasing unrestricted support through several avenues. The Associate Director will also serve as the unit’s main liaison to the Haas students. The ideal candidate should have exceptional skills in organization, interpersonal communication, and analytical thinking.
Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, implement specific plans for fundraising and alumni relations programs and activities
- Develop and maintain reports with routine information, providing basic analysis of program trends, and short and long range results
- Serve as liaison and support to student-led fundraising efforts
- Schedule and/or coordinate events
- Draft informational and marketing materials for review for assigned programs
- Assist in developing support materials for specific fundraising activities and/or assist in such promotional efforts as writing, speaking, telephoning, et cetera, as needed
- Handle special projects/assignments involving direct interaction with alumni volunteers and donors
- Conduct research on alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations to identify prospects
- Coordinate work of support staff
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
- Working knowledge of fundraising, donor relations and public relations concepts, principles, procedures and techniques
- Working knowledge of the campus, its vision, mission, goals, objectives, achievements and infrastructure
- Working knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, et cetera
- Good written and interpersonal communication skills to establish and maintain good working relationships throughout the campus and with external constituencies
- Good organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Skill to maintain confidentiality
Other:
- This position will require some domestic travel (less than 10%), primarily (but not limited to) the Bay Area, southern California, and New York.
