Staff and Academic Reduction in Time (START)
Steps to enroll in the START Program:
1. The employee initiates the process of enrolling by completing the START Contract (PDF format) and submitting it to the supervisor for approval.
2. The manager or supervisor makes a decision regarding the employee's participation in accordance with departmental or unit procedures. If the contract is not approved, the supervisor should provide the employee with a reason, in writing.
3. If approved, the supervisor and senior management of the unit sign the contract form and submit it to Denise Boyd, Director of Human Resources at Haas.
4. If approved, a Dean's Office designate will sign the form and inform the supervisor and the employee of that decision.
